Since the pandemic, my school didn't celebrate High School day because for some obvious reason. This year, we finally celebrated Ilocos Sur National High School 121st High school day with a theme "renewed Commitment in defying Odds to Transcend Heights of Excellence and Solidarity." Many preparations were made for that day and I will say, it was  a successful and amazing event that I had experienced.   High School day  is a very special event that my school conduct to celebrate and remember High school. It was full of many activities that surely amazed me. But first, we had a Eucharistic Mass to start the event holy. after that, we had an opening program to welcome ISNHS's High School day. In the afternoon, there was a presentation of Calisthenics and a short performance led by Grade 10 Students. The National Women’s Month is a celebration we acknowledge in honor of all the girls and women. In the Philippines, the Women’s Month Celebration has since served as a venue to highlight women’s achievements and discuss continuing and emerging women’s empowerment and gender equality issues and concerns, challenges, and commitments.   The 14th of February marks the day we celebrate Valentines. People celebrate this day by sending messages of love or by doing something special and affection to partners, friends, and family. They give flowers, gifts, and also cards to express their love with each other.  First thing in the morning I received a text from my father greeting me a happy valentine’s day. I thought that that was a very sweet gesture that made my day. This year,  I spent my valentines with my classmates, friends, and teachers. Since valentine’s day was a school day, me and my classmates decided to have a simple token of appreciation to all of our teachers. We each gave them flowers and a simple gift witch they have to pick out a piece of paper what gift are they going to get. Next, we surprised them by singing a song.   The Kannawidan festival is one of the events that people is thrilled to see every year.  This Festival compremise all the municipalities in Ilocos Sur. They showcase their culture and tradition in their town. All Ilocanos participate in this event and share their talent. Many amazing events happened which not only shows entertainment but also knowledge that imparted to the viewers by knowing the history and heritage of their beloved municipality and of Ilocos Sur. The Ms. Ilocos sur is one of my favorite events during the festival. Each municipality have a candidate to represent and compete to win the crown.   The Vigan festival was celebrated during the month of January. T his festival is  an exhibit  of indigenous performances, religious rituals, and activities  about the culture and heritage of Vigan City.  You can learn many things during this festival; especially about the tradition and history of our town. This festival contains many activities and programs that will ensure you entertainment and a blast of time! The activities that I have attended were the Vigan  City Grand Parade, Longganisa Festival Street Dance, and the Longganisa Festival Dance Showdown.  This was the Grand Parade of the Vigan City festival. I enjoyed watching and seeing  the people who makes our town united and integrated walking through-out the parade. This was the Vigan Longganisa Festival Street Dance.   I have discovered all about HTML or the hypertext mark-up language. The topic of our second grading is maybe my most favorite topic as of now, during our ICT class. I have learned many things about HTML tags and encoding a document. Not only did I gain knowledge but also, I had fun learning and doing all of our activities and exercises.   Throughout the second quarter, I've been loving all of our lessons and can be useful for future purposes.  One of the major problems that I have encountered was when we imputed our USB flash drive in the server, it suddenly cannot read the flash drive. All of our exercises ad activities  where saved in that USB drive and we began to panic because there is a possibility that we will redo all of our activities. Second, when my activity did not work, I started to panic because I cannot find where is the mistake in my file. There are a lot of possible things that might went wrong in what I have encoded. I am grateful about my 2022. I've learned and discovered many things that definitely will always be imprinted in my heart. All the memories that have been created whether it may be sad or happy. I am so proud of myself that I have faced all the obstacles and challenges I have gone through last year. Moments that I shed in tears because I was sad and moments I cried because I was dying of laughter.  I am grateful for the people that I have encountered through out the year. I hope that this year, 2023 they will still be in it and will create more memories together.  This year, I want to focus on myself. Create zero distraction for myself and prioritize my goal. Knowing God, self improvement, a better mindset, and hopefully no cramming. More happy moments and less drama this year. This year 2023 I will be an upcoming Senior high school student and I hope that I will face all the challenges that may come gracefully. Gain more knowledge and wisdom.
